Voxra XL 150 is primarily used for the treatment of depression as defined by DSM IV criteria.
It is indicated for:
- Treatment of major depressive disorder (MDD)[5]

Voxra XL contains bupropion hydrochloride, an antidepressant medication that acts as a norepinephrine and dopamine reuptake inhibitor[1]. Bupropion is also used (under different brand names or formulations) for:
- Prevention of seasonal affective disorder (SAD)[7][8]
- Supporting smoking cessation[1][7]
- Adjunct for weight management when combined with naltrexone[7]
- Off-label uses such as adjunctive therapy in ADHD and bipolar disorder[7]
Dosage and administration for Voxra XL 150:
- The initial dose is 150 mg taken once daily in the morning[5][6].
- Patients not responding adequately may benefit from an increase to 300 mg once daily[5].
- Doses should be taken at least 24 hours apart and it should not be taken more than once per day[5][6].
- Therapy should be initiated by medical practitioners experienced in treating depression[5].
